This body of work continues to be a practice of letting go, letting the process lead me,

Just flowing.

Not embracing or resisting upheaval but attempting to accept and allow all.

Destruction and rebirth.

A clearing away to build anew.

Simplicity is key. A quiet place for soul’s rest, surrounded by sea and sky.

For comfort and calm, for me, for others.

For this series I often used my hands, building up the canvas with layers, mostly blues and greens.

Asking the painting what it needs from me now.
